Peppermint Ice Cream Affogato
Holiday drinks are definitely up my alley, but a good, warm, fireside drink is even better. This recipe combines the best of both worlds with the sweet cocoa flavor along with the minty bite infused into the melted ice cream. An affogato can be a pretty small serving since it is extremely flavorful. Try this easy recipe while listening to some sweet holiday tunes as you light your Christmas tree.
Ingredients:
- Vanilla ice cream
- Peppermint- crushed & whole
- Hot cocoa mix
- Milk
Directions:
1. Scoop the ice cream into a cup
2. Pour the hot cocoa over the ice cream
3. Garnish with crushed peppermint
